When choosing the land for your home, be sure to prioritize your lifestyle. Consider factors like sunrise, sunset, your ideal backyard, and proximity to your favorite activities or hiking trail. Finally, visualize your ideal home on the land.
After selecting the homesite, next select the plan for your home. Focus on functionality first. Imagine how you’ll use the space daily. Does the kitchen flow to the living room? Will everyone have the space and rooms that they need? Don’t be afraid to customize. Minor adjustments can make a big difference in how the floor plan suits your life.
Finally, select the style that best suits you and your family. Styling your home goes beyond just aesthetics. It’s about curating a space that reflects your personality and fosters a sense of well-being. We offer 3 styles each with unique features that perfectly complement the Santa Fe landscape. By incorporating textures, colors, and objects you love, you create a comfortable and inviting environment. This can boost your mood, reduce stress, and make your home a true sanctuary.
Transitional Santa Fe blends the warmth of traditional Santa Fe with modern clean lines. Sun-baked adobe or stucco exteriors remain, but with a smoother finish and squarer shapes for a more contemporary feel. Exposed vigas might be painted white for a brighter look. Pops of traditional color like turquoise or terracotta add a touch of the Southwest without overwhelming the modern vibe.
Contemporary Santa Fe embraces the desert light and open spaces. Think clean lines and ample windows with expansive views of the surrounding landscape. Local materials like adobe or stucco are used in a modern way, perhaps with geometric shapes or a polished finish. Earthy tones are used with pops of bright color for a vibrant and sophisticated feel.
The Santa Fe Baroque homestyle blends European elegance with Southwestern warmth. Imagine a stucco exterior with rounded corners, reminiscent of Spanish missions. Terracotta roof tiles and wrought-iron accents add a touch of old-world charm, while vibrant desert colors peek through the doorway, promising a unique and inviting interior.
